Follow along and see how you might use these exciting enhancements to help with your day-to-day responsibilities!

Release 73

1. Download Documentation Page Converted to a Report Page

Last month, Henry spent a ton of time trying to update the Employee Handbook on the UKG Ready Download Documentation page. He needed to find a couple of important documents to complete the updates. However, the Download Documentation page was a little confusing and not easy to sift through. Luckily for Henry, the page will be converted from a table into a report page in this upcoming release. It’ll allow him to search for the documents he needs using standard reporting features and streamline document organization. The next time Henry makes updates to the Employee Handbook, he should quickly find what he needs.

2. No More Scrolling — Customize Timesheet Columns Your Way

Monica is constantly checking her timesheet, both on her desktop and mobile device. She always feels like she has to continuously scroll through the application to find the data she needs. Thanks to this enhancement, the days of scrolling are long gone. Monica can customize the order of the columns in the Time Entry Collected Data section. Now she can put her most frequently used items at the top of the screen. This reduces scrolling and allows her to view and enter information quickly, saving her plenty of time.

3. Attestation Updates — InTouch Punches

Tommy has been hard at work making sure his organization is appropriately following the state’s COVID-19 guidelines. He’s been leveraging the UKG Ready attestation solution since his employees went back to work. With guidance from his legal team, answering yes to the question “Have you traveled outside of the state within the past 14 days?” is set to trigger a restricted punch on desktop and mobile devices. Now restricted punches can be triggered on InTouch clocks as well. So, if employees punch in using an InTouch clock and indicate that yes, they have traveled out of the state within the past 14 days, they will not be allowed to punch in.

4. Add Documents to Request and Modify Time Off

Ingrid is a college student who spends her summers working at a local country club. This year, her sister is getting married on the Fourth of July weekend. Since the weekend is such a popular holiday, the country club needs all hands on deck. Ingrid knows she’ll need to provide documentation of her sister’s wedding to be granted time off. Previously, there was no way to handle this within the UKG Ready platform. However, thanks to this enhancement, Ingrid can attach her sister’s wedding announcement directly to her time-off request.

5. Personalize Content in New Hire Checklists

Meredith is getting ready to onboard several new hires at her organization, and it’s no secret that checklists are heavily leveraged during this process. However, Meredith knows that new hire checklists are not always one size fits all. That’s why she is excited about this latest enhancement. She now can personalize the onboarding experience and incorporate specific videos, images, links, etc., based on the new hire. This creates an engaging, unique, and enhanced onboarding experience for each new hire.

6. Make Your Cell Phone Your Primary Phone

Toward the end of 2020, Landon decided to get rid of his home phone. Since no one in his house was using it and everyone had their cell phones anyway, he thought it’d be a great way to save some money. When he went to update his information in UKG Ready, he could not make his cell phone his primary phone. With this enhancement, those who don’t have a home phone or who prefer to use their cell phone can now make it the default, primary phone within UKG Ready. Landon has been asking about this for a while and is extremely excited to have his cell phone listed.

7. Performance Management — Peer Feedback

Josie is starting on her final performance review for the last member of her team. With all the enhancements surrounding performance management, Josie has found this year to be the easiest one yet — even with her growing team. During this release, the performance management enhancements just keep on coming, with the biggest item being peer feedback. Now Josie can let her employees anonymously see what feedback they were given and determine whether or not the peer feedback is input or part of the review. These enhancements help Josie provide her employees with more well-rounded and valuable feedback.

8. Personal Rate Table Reason Codes Rate Tables — Added Reason Code to Rate Table Import Table

Louis works as a payroll admin at a nonprofit organization where an employee can have several different roles. Employees who work at the pool may be both swim instructors and lifeguards, leading them to have multiple pay rates based on what day they are working. Louis used to have to enter reason codes for each pay rate change manually. With this latest enhancement, a column has been added with an import table so Louis will no longer have to manually insert reasons why pay rates were changed. Not only does this save time and provide greater reporting capabilities, but it also provides visibility to the changes that were made.

9. Points — Added Points to Category Filter to “Create Custom Form” Rule

Megan is in charge of Points at her organization. So, when someone reaches the maximum number of points, she is the one to notify them. Previously when an employee reached the maximum threshold, there was no custom form that would automatically be triggered. Instead, Megan had to assign these forms to the employee manually. So, if someone had reached the maximum number of points regarding attendance, she’d have to send out a response manually. With this enhancement, these custom forms can be created automatically. Now when someone reaches the maximum number of points (whether it be based on safety, attendance, time off, etc.), Megan can ensure a custom form is automatically generated and sent to the employee.
