Kronos® to Present "OLE: Overall Labor Effectiveness™" at Canada's Largest Manufacturing Technology Conference

'Global' and 'lean' initiatives are changing the manufacturing landscape. What every manufacturer needs to compete effectively in this market is a sound framework for measuring productivity. Gregg Gordon, global practice leader for manufacturing at Kronos® Incorporated will examine how labor is a crucial factor in this measurement structure at the Canadian Manufacturing Technology Show today.

Many measurements focus on labor hours and machine effectiveness or production output. While most manufacturers carefully track employee time and attendance, few have an organized method for clearly understanding labor utilization. Gordon will discuss Overall Labor Effectiveness™ (OLE), a key performance indicator developed by Kronos that considers the impact of labor on production, and helps manufacturers measure the overall effectiveness of their workforce.
