Kronos® Customer City and County of Denver to Present at APA Congress About How it Achieved $1.5 Million in Savings

Kronos® Incorporated customer Linda Misegadis, director of citywide payroll and administrative services at the City and County of Denver, and Gil Sullivan, workforce management evangelist at Kronos, will present a strategic session at the American Payroll Association (APA) Congress, detailing how the City and County of Denver uses Kronos workforce management solutions to optimize payroll process.

Why:

In an effort to operate an efficient, budget-conscious government, the City and County of Denver selected Kronos as its workforce management software provider, to help eliminate ineffective, manual work processes and deliver accurate pay and benefits to employees. Following the deployment of workforce management solutions from Kronos, Denver has improved payroll processes while controlling labor costs, minimizing compliance risk, and improving workforce productivity. In conjunction with the implementation, the City and County of Denver consolidated payroll and administrative services across multiple, disparate departments, resulting in an annual, sustainable cost saving of more than $1.5 million. During the APA conference, the City and County of Denver will be honored as a 2009 Prism Award winner for its industry-leading payroll practices. Misegadis, representing the City and County of Denver, will speak on a panel with three other organizations being honored as APA Prism winners, for their payroll best practices.
