CLEVELAND, April 26, 2010 — Kronos® Incorporated today announced the launch of Kronos for Logistics, a comprehensive suite of workforce management solutions that helps organizations control labor costs, minimize compliance risk, and increase operational efficiencies.

- Kronos for Logistics includes time and attendance, employee scheduling, workforce analytics, activities, absence management, and HR and payroll solutions.
- Throughout the logistics industry including air, distribution centers, rail, and trucking there are pressures to balance profitability with quality service, at a competitive price. Labor costs typically account for more than 40 percent of operating costs and is the largest controllable expense within these industries.
- By tracking every minute worked against tasks, activities, and customers, Kronos provides real-time visibility into labor and productivity data to make rapid decisions that ensure quality and high level of service.
