Kerry Foods Selects Kronos for Manufacturing as Part of HR and Payroll Transformation

15 August 2007 — As part of its strategy to develop an integrated HR and payroll system, Kerry Foods, the food processing manufacturer, has selected Kronos for Manufacturing to manage the time and attendance (T&A) of 3,000 employees at 15 UK-based manufacturing plants. Kronos for Manufacturing, developed by Kronos Incorporated, will give Kerry Foods a single T&A solution for all 15 manufacturing sites, standardise timekeeping processes across the group and enable the organisation to develop an integrated system for HR, payroll and time and attendance. On completion, the project will provide a best practice time and attendance model for the group.

As part of its transformation of payroll and HR processes, Kerry Foods required a scalable time and attendance solution to serve its smaller sites, any new sites acquired and the company's larger manufacturing plants. Following an extensive market review, the Kronos system was selected to replace a number of disparate time and attendance systems currently in use across the division from in-house developed systems to third party solutions.
