Professional Affiliations
Professional associations such as the American Payroll Association (APA), National Association of the State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) encourage members to attain professional certification.
However, once you achieve certification, you must keep it current by attending continuing education seminars. Because Kronos is affiliated with many of the same organizations that you are, our courses can help you attain your professional goals. In many cases, Kronos Customer Education courses qualify for re-certification credits.

American Payroll Association (APA)
Members of the APA who are looking to maintain their certification status may receive re-certification credit hours for this course. Courses eligible for re-certification credit must contain content that falls within the CPP or FPC content outline found in the Application Handbook for Candidates. A re-certification credit hour equals one hour of classroom contact, time spent during breaks or lunch do not count. The individual holding the CPP or FPC designation should retain the certificate of completion from this the course and the course agenda in their re-certification file folder that the American Payroll Association has provided. At time of re-certification, APA may request the re-certification file folder for audit purposes.

National Registry of CPE Sponsors (NASBA)
Kronos is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
