Kronos® and immixGroup, Inc. Extend Relationship with Transportation Security Administration

Biometric data collection terminals to increase visibility into labor data and automate manual processes

CHELMSFORD, Mass. and MCLEAN, Va., Feb. 5, 2007 — Kronos® Incorporated (Nasdaq: KRON) and immixGroup, Inc., have extended their relationship with the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to use workforce management solutions to increase visibility into labor data and automate manual processes. The federal agency will now use the Kronos 4500 Touch ID™ terminals, with biometric functionality, to efficiently and effectively capture time and labor data for its more than 55,000 employees located in more than 450 airports nationwide.

TSA awarded this contract to immixGroup, a leading provider of enterprise technology to the government and Kronos' partner in the government marketplace. As the prime contractor, immixGroup is responsible for the delivery and implementation of Kronos workforce management solutions throughout TSA.

Biometrics benefits employees and the organization
The Kronos 4500 Touch ID terminals combine employee-friendly data collection functionality with sophisticated biometric verification technology. With the use of these terminals, TSA employees will be able to access real-time labor information such as scheduled shift times, accrual balances, and messages. In addition, the terminals will allow TSA to experience lower total cost of ownership due to ease of use and easy installation.

Making technology decisions based on past successes
Kronos workforce management solutions have enabled TSA to automate the process of tracking employee attendance and ensure fair and accurate application of its pay policies. By automating these processes, TSA has been able to streamline the management of employee time, reduce costs related to labor, and improve operational efficiency.

"In the post-9/11 world, TSA and other federal agencies need to keep their laser focus on improving security," said Jeff Babcock, senior director of the Kronos federal division. "With their selection of Kronos solutions, TSA has proven that they can maintain this focus while also improving employee satisfaction and meeting operational objectives."
