Charlie Dickson
Chief administrative officer
As chief administrative officer, Charlie Dickson is responsible for the global management and execution of functions including finance, corporate development, information technology, human resources, legal, manufacturing, procurement, and facilities. Dickson joined Kronos in July 2008, bringing a wealth of financial management and operational expertise honed over a 20-year career with industry-leading private and publicly held technology companies.
Dickson began his career as a financial consultant for an economic consulting firm to electric utilities and telecom companies such as MCI Communications. His successful consulting engagement landed him a job working for MCI, where he held several senior financial positions in Denver, New York, and Washington D.C.
After nine years with MCI, Dickson served as chief financial officer of several companies including: Agency.com, an Internet services company; General Instrument Corporation, a $2 billion global manufacturer of cable TV and satellite TV networks; United Components, a $1 billion global manufacturer; and Winstar Communications, a wireless provider of local telecommunications services. He was most recently chief financial officer of DoubleClick, a premier provider of digital marketing and technology services, which was acquired by Google.
Dickson earned a bachelor's degree from Clark University, where he focused on research in renewable energy and resource economics, and a master's degree in public policy from the University of California at Berkeley.
