Altitude VBS provides crew members with the ability to express their vacation preferences, enhancing their influence on the vacation time awarded to them. Crew members can express the degree to which they prefer certain vacation periods through the web based crew member interface, which is accessible from anywhere. Altitude VBS also supports monthly re-bids for awarding vacation periods that have been freed up due to crew members changing categories — for example, crew members have another opportunity to bid for prime vacation slots.
